Terms of Service

Article 1 (General)

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using GitIgnite (the “Service”), which is provided by an individual developer (the “Developer”). Users agree to these Terms before using the Service.

Article 2 (Account Registration and Management)

  • Users must keep their registration details accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Users are responsible for safeguarding their passwords and shall not transfer or lend account credentials to third parties.
  • If unauthorized use is discovered, the User must promptly notify the Developer.

Article 3 (Service Content)

The Developer may change or discontinue part or all of the Service, with or without prior notice to Users. The Developer does not warrant the completeness, fitness for particular purposes, or uninterrupted availability of the Service.

Article 4 (Fees and Payment)

  • Fees, payment methods, and billing cycles follow the conditions specified separately by the Developer.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • If a User delays payment, the Developer may suspend Service access or terminate the account.

Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

  • Acts that violate laws, public order, or these Terms
  • Acts that infringe the rights or interests of the Developer or third parties
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to analyze the Service software
  • Overloading the Service or attempting unauthorized access
  • Registering false information or impersonating other individuals

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

Intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Developer or to authorized third parties. Content uploaded by Users is deemed to grant the Developer a non-exclusive license to use it as necessary for operating the Service.

Article 7 (Suspension and Termination)

If a User violates these Terms or the Developer deems the User inappropriate, the Developer may suspend or terminate the account without prior notice. Terminated Users may not re-register without the Developer’s approval.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

The Developer is not liable for damages arising from a User’s use or inability to use the Service except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence. In any event, liability is limited to the total fees the User paid to the Developer in the preceding twelve months.

Article 9 (No Warranty)

The Developer makes no express or implied warranties that the Service will meet specific purposes, operate continuously, or be free from infringement of third-party rights.

Article 10 (Third-Party Services)

When the Service integrates with third-party services or software, their terms apply as stipulated by the respective providers. The Developer assumes no responsibility for such third-party services.

Article 11 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)

Users represent and warrant that they are not, and will not become, members of anti-social forces. Upon violation, the Developer may immediately cease providing the Service.

Article 12 (Export Control)

Users must comply with applicable export and import control laws when using the Service or third-party software.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes arising from or relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court governing the Developer’s residence as the court of first instance.

Article 14 (Notifications and Amendments)

The Developer may notify Users via website postings or email, and such notices take effect when posted or sent. The Developer may amend these Terms when necessary. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
